HIT The iLife is your Students' Association smartphone app. A diary and discount system that keeps you up to date with everything that's going on at theUnion and much more besides. Latest news, campus maps and upcoming events are automatically updated in your HIT The iLife App diary. You personalise your diary by subscribing to the clubs and societies that interest you, and adding your own events, notes and reminders. You can even view and edit your diary online via the web portal.

Any budding writers or journo's out there, the Student Association would like to help you out. Write a review of a Student Association event, a guide that would be useful for students, or write about anything that you think TAFE Students would be interested in.

Articles need to be kept clean and appropriate to be approved (keep in mind there are students under 18 who attend TAFE) and then we can publish it with you getting the by-line and the kudos (links to personal profiles or online resume's could work well). Subscribe to our Calendar

You can now subscribe to our Events Calendar on a variety of different programs and devices. Most devices use an XML, or ICAL file.

The calendar links are below. Click the required file type, then either open them with your device or right-click the URL, select "Copy link", then paste that in your program or device.

Hamilton Campus Members Lockers

The Hunter TAFE Student Association has donated 60 Larger Locker Spaces to Hamilton Campus Tourism and Hospitality. These lockers are available exclusively to Members of the Association.

To pay the $20 membership fee and join the Association, please visit the Newcastle Campus Bookshop, located in Block S, Newcastle Campus, Maitland Road, Tighes Hill. Golden Trowel

The 2011 Golden Trowel was held at the Hunter TAFE - Newcastle Campus over the past 2 days. Many students from around the state travelled to compete in the block laying event.

The Student Association provided a BBQ lunch for the competitors who were able to enjoy some fantastic live music provided by the Live at the Lunchbox crew.

We would like to congratulate the Coffs Harbour team for taking out the title this year.
